Grilled Maple Salmon

This salmon hit the spot the other night! It it really fast and easy (as long as you plan ahead long enough to marinade it) and goes so well with a simple vegetable and grain. Nothing makes me happier than to see my almost 4 yr old chowing down on salmon and asparagus!
Grilled Maple Salmon
4 whole Salmon Fillets
1/3 c. Maple Syrup
1/4 c. Soy Sauce
1/3 c. Orange Juice
1/2 t. Ground Ginger
1/4 t. Ground Cayenne Red Pepper
1/2 t. Garlic Powder
Salt and Pepper
In a bowl, mix all ingredients together. Pour the marinade over the salmon in dish (or a ziplock bag, being careful not to break the salmon). Refrigerate at least 30 minutes, or until ready to cook.
In a saucepan, bring the leftover marinade to a boil, then turn heat down to low. While salmon is cooking, baste with leftover sauce. (If in a time pinch, this step can be skipped!)
Grill the salmon for 4-5 minutes on each side, and eat hot off the grill!

This recipe makes the best tasting salmon I've ever had in my life. No joke.
